How Pakistan Army plotted Kargil War: Najam Sethi

In the following three videos, Najam Sethi, Editor Friday Times, Pakistan, makes candid revelations on how the Pakistan Army plotted to occupy the Kargil Heights clandestinely. The plan by Pakistan to offset the loss of Siachen appears to be the underpinning motive. While Gen Zia-ul-Haq had refused the Pak Army’s plan during his tenure, Gen Musharraf revived and dusted the old army plan to occupy Kargil Heights.

This was one of the biggest intelligence failure by R&AW, IB, Military Intelligence and the Indian Army. The very fact that the Pakistani troops were inside Indian Territory in Kargil from January 1999 onwards and we only came to know about in May 1999, speaks volumes on lackluster performance of the intelligence agencies.

  1. Pakistan army in the disguise of Mujaheedin. This shows there cowardness in attacking India. I absolutely agree with sir Col S B Singh comments in this section. Whatever may be the motive of Pakistan to attack India in a Eunuch way was perished with the strength of Indian Army that shows how India is powerful in its attacking and protecting people of India from these nasty creatures. I opine the nastier are the pakistan politicians whose greed has been paid by the soldiers of Pakistan. Better dont dare again to attack India else you will see the repurcussions like happend after Kargil. Jai ho India..Long live India…Indian army we are all with you …Jai Hind.

  2. The India bureauocracy has been destroying the Indian armed forces, they expect our armed forces to fight with their hands tied behind their back, some of the officers in our armed forces are spineless ,they have joined then army to fleece it ,bloody baniyas, the real officers who have the tenacity to fight the enemy have always been held back.

As for the RAW and IB MIB,they are all crap, total shit heads, they should be sent to gather intelligence of women’s panties, and under garments that is what they are fit for.the intelligence agencies have failed India time and time again. For their stupidity the brave soilders have to pay the price with their lives.

Let us not forget the pakistanis will strike again in the near future,if our intelligence are still sleeping it is the people of India who will have to deal with the consequences of the failures of incompetent officers and moronic intelligence agency. As I come form a army back ground I know the corruption is rampant In the army.all these things need to be sorted out before we can talk about cold start or hot start ao any start at all.

    Jai Hind.

  3. Dear Sir, There is no denying the fact that it was a total intelligence failure. The gravest problem with our Politico-bureucratic nexus is that they have willy- nilly developed a mind set that through talks and diplomacy they can resolve all strategical and military problems and forces are needed just as a show of force for deterrence resulting in sideilning of forces and with little interest in their functional capacity and capabilities. Gen Musharraf was a clever politician clad in military uniform and got over enthused with slumber of our intelligence agencies for which our valiant soldiers paid heavy price. Let us not forget that our adversary has not forgotten 1971, Sichen as well as Kargil and shall strike moment we lower our guard.
