Air Marshal Shirish Baban Deo, AVSM VM VSM takes over as Director General Air (Operations) today at Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhavan) New Delhi. He was commissioned in the fighter stream on 15 Jun 79 and has done 4000 hours of operational & training flying.
Air Mshl Deo is a Fighter Combat Leader and an A2 Qualified Flying Instructor. He has been a Directing Staff at TACDE and an instructor at the Flying Instructors School, Air Force Station Tambaram. Air Mshl Deo is also an alumnus of the prestigious Defence Services Staff College, Wellington.
Prior to taking over Command of DG Air (Ops), he held various staff appointments and worked in Ops / Plans directorates at Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhavan).

It is BLACK DAY for the IAF! This man is a total hypocrite. He presents himself as officer and gentleman to his superiors but for his subordinates and family members he is a nightmare. Drove his son to the point of committing suicide! A total failure who lacks integrity and shoots a lot!
