He further said, “I am extremely grateful to your parents who have sent you to this camp and made you a part of this nation building. The cadets who are here have been specially selected to attend the camp, I only wish that if each one of you would join the armed forces, which I am sure many of you will do, I think the services would be better enriched by your experience and by your background”. He also lauded the contribution of NCC fraternity including its alumni for their vital and dynamic role towards Nation Building, Disaster Management, and Conserving the Environment. When asked for his message to the youth who wants to join the armed forces he said. “My message to those who want to join the Armed Forces is that when you do so you would be treated honourably, you would be taken care of and we will make sure that everything is available to you in meeting your operational tasks.
