Their actions during the battle struck the right note of courage and sacrifice to set \'Operation Vijay\' on the path to victory .
Attacking troops of 2 Rajputana Rifles were exposed to intense artillery and\\" small arms fire throughout the night of 12/13 June 1999 as they inched forward towards their objective. They sustained heavy casualties close to the objective due to fire from well sited automatics. Yet these brave men never faltered and captured Tololing in the early hours of 13 June 1999 after a hand to hand fight. A string of successes followed the capture of Tololing. For their acts of remarkable valour, three officers and a Naik were awarded MVCs (posthumously) - the highest number ever earned by a unit in a battle. Besides, the unit also bagged seven VrCs.")

The great war in the Indian history.I am proud to say that I was also part this War.I remembered so many occurrences of the War.Every Indian must be proud and give respect to our Indian Armed forces.Indian forces fought that War with brewery where the Pakistan forces had sofisticated weaponry system given by the America.So hats to our Indian brave soldiers.JAI HIND”JAI BHARAT”.So many soldiers have laid down their lives selflessnesly.For the people’s future of tomorrow soldiers gave their today . THE PRICE OF VALOUR , DEDICATION AND BLOOD IN THIS BRAHMIN , BANIA , BUSINESSMEN CONTROLLED ECONOMY ONLY IS REWARDED BY SUBJUGATION AND MAKING LIFE MORE DIFFICULT FOR THE CUTTING EDGE OF THE THREE SERVICES .THE MEEK , SUBSERVIANT , TIMID AND CONNIVING FLAG RANKS ACCEPT THE DEGRADATION OF STATUS OF ALL FROM JAWAN TO LT GEN AND ARE BEHOLDEN TO THE GOVT FOR THEIR OWN OROP AND STATUS WHERE THEY GET FOOLED AS BEING EQUAVALENT OF CABINET SECRETARY AND SECRETARIES WITHOUT ANY FINANCIAL POWERS SO GREAT THAT THEY CANNOT EVEN BUY SHOES OR LACES FOR THOSE SERVING UNDER THEM. THE BRAVEST OF THE BRAVE WHO CLIMBED THE HILLS OF KARGILL ALL DESERVE THE VERY BEST AND THE NATIONS GRATITUDE FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE VICTORIES .THE GOVT AND THE ARMY MUST REGULARLY FINANCIALLY REWARD THE WIDOWS PARENTS , CHILDREN OF THE DEAD AND ENSURE THEY ARE NEVER DEPRIVED OF HOUSING , SCHOOLING ,EDUCATION MEDICAL , JOBS AND TRAVEL ASSISTANCE WHENEVER THEY REQUIRE .
We salute the Brave and the undaunting for their valour who could only be given the PvC only postumously …. and would love to be with those other Chakra vijetas who are alive .. may god bless them a long life so that the country prides on them for long and has their leadership in the defence forces …jai mata di …jai hind …
