Pakistan was created by breaking India in the name of religion. Its fanatic religious entities provoked and incited Hindu-Muslim hatred and crafted the two nation theory. The flawed two nation theory was exposed when Bengali Muslims revolted against Punjabi hegemony in Pakistan and eventually fought and gained independence in 1971. After laying the foundation of Pakistan on deceit, its army and establishment started to terrorise its neighbours. Pakistan’s first victim was the sovereign Baloch nation which Pakistan invaded on March 27, 1948.

Pakistan continues to terrorise and blackmail the world. It stole nuclear blueprints from the Netherlands and, after successfully testing nuclear weapons, Pakistan exported its nuclear know-how to Iran, Libya and North Korea.

The Pakistan state, its army and intelligence services continue to interfere, infiltrate and coordinate terrorist activities in Afghanistan and India. Most international terrorism-related incidents have also been directly or indirectly linked to Pakistan over the past many years.

Pakistan has played double games with the international community in the name of terrorism and managed to keep Punjab as a blind spot for the world, to conceal its factories of terrorism (religious seminaries) and indoctrination campuses, in Lahore and Rawalpindi.

The Pakistani army and ISI are investing in accommodating religious extremist groups and using them as strategic assets to blackmail the USA and the international community.

Pakistan’s Army, ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) and MI (Military Intelligence) have also penetrated the secular and liberal population of occupied Balochistan to radicalise Baloch youth. Pakistan army-backed religious groups flood Quetta, capital of occupied Balochistan, with hate literature to promote its Jihadist ideology against USA, NATO, India, Israel and Afghanistan.

ISI-funded madrasas, mullahs and religious parties raised death squads to counter the ongoing Baloch Liberation Movement. Such groups have licenses to carry sophisticated automatic weapons and freely to distribute hate pamphlets. They face no difficulty in delivering violent speeches or issuing edicts against western nations, India and Afghanistan. They preach hatred and violence against Baloch freedom fighters, fighting Pakistan’s army for the past 72 years.

Like the Al Shams and Al Badr religious terrorist groups created by the Pakistan army to counter the liberation struggle of the Bengali people, the current death squads of the Pakistani army labels Baloch freedom fighters as agents of CIA, RAW and MOSSAD to justify their violence against the Baloch struggle.

The world knows that these allegations are baseless because, if the Baloch had any external support or if India, America, Israel and Afghanistan had supported the Baloch struggle, Pakistan would not have managed to continue its ongoing barbarism in Balochistan.

Balochistan has vast reserves of untapped resources including oil, gas, gold, iron, uranium, and precious minerals, but Iran, Pakistan and China are stealing these resources against the will of the Baloch people, in the name of development.

The mega exploitation project called CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) is not being built to benefit the Baloch but is for the benefit of China and Punjab. China wants a stronghold in Central and Southwest Asia and Punjab wants money; so both are feeding their greed in Balochistan.

China also has strategic interests; it wants to build two naval bases along Balochistan’s coast and ‘a Chinese city’ for 500,000 Chinese nationals, at a cost of $150 million, in Gwadar as part of the CPEC. The CPEC is not for the prosperity and development of Balochistan, but designed by the military establishments of Pakistan and China to counter and weaken India, USA and the Gulf states.

The Baloch people have been seeking global help to stop joint Chinese and Pakistani atrocities in Balochistan. The Free Balochistan Movement, headed by Hyrbyair Marri, has been at the forefront in exposing the China-Pakistan expansionist design in the region. The FBM has organised several successful protest, marches and sit-in vigils against China and urged the Chinese people to ask their government to quit Balochistan.

Afghanistan, Balochistan, Bangladesh and India have been victims of Pakistani state terrorism since the division of India and creation of Pakistan. It is time these nations, the Gulf States, the leadership of the West including the USA and Europe and Japan review their dysfunctional policies of trying to appease China, Pakistan and Iran.

Leaders of the world’s civilised nations should contact Baloch leaders and cooperate with the Baloch freedom struggle. An independent Balochistan would be a central point to build bridges between Central and South Asia and the West and Gulf states. Independent Balochistan is the only feasible option to counter Chinese, Iranian and Pakistani expansionist designs, stop Pakistani state terrorism against Afghanistan, India and NATO forces in Afghanistan and to counter Iranian proxy wars in the Middle East.

The economies of Iran and Pakistan are already failing and the two fanatic states are on their knees. An independent, natural resource-rich Balochistan would have two deep sea ports – Gwadar and Chabahar – the best trade links from Central and South Asia to the rest of the world.
